Live!: Kristalyn Gill

Kristalyn Gill, a North Carolina native, graduated from East Carolina University with dual degrees in Dance Performance (BFA) and Interpersonal/Organizational Communication (BS) on full academic scholarship. She is a professional dancer, slam poet, author, choreographer, actor, and communication specialist. Upon graduation, Kristalyn joined Shaun Keylock Company and 11: Dance Co in Portland, Oregon while creating and nationally touring her own choreographic work. There, she was able to publish her poetry book, "The Breakup Club: A Collection of Mishaps and Falling Aparts," which is available on Google Books, Amazon, and LuLu Press. Kristalyn has performed in original works by Yin Yue, Menghan Lou, Joseph Hernandez, Kaloyan Boyadjiev, Kristen Céré, Mark Haim, Joe Cotler, and Shaun Keylock. Additionally, she has trained with Victor Quijada, Micaela Taylor, Glen Edgerton, Diana Matos, Andrea Miller, Bo Park, Sidra Bell, Sarah Slipper, Hélène Blackburn, Olivier Wevers, and Lillian Barbeito. Kristalyn was honored to be accepted into the 2019 Springboard Danse Montréal Project and looks forward to attending the program following COVID-19 restrictions. Currently, Kristalyn lives in New York City and serves as company artist with Yin Yue Dance Company, MOTUS the Company, cloude.nyc, Channel:Dig, and Catastrophe! Also, she has worked on projects with Andrea Ward, Hayden Frederick, and Depth Dance. The publication of her next poetry collection, The Shape of You, is in process with hopes to be on bookshelves by Fall 2021.

Live!: Alex Mitchell

Alex Mitchell is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist based in New York City. After receiving her BFA in Dance Studies from Long Island University, she went on to complete Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester program. Concentrating in Contemporary/Jazz and Street Styles, she trained under New York’s top choreographers. Alex has worked with Cosmopolitan Magazine, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, MTV’S TRL and is an alumni of the Young Choreographer’s Festival. She has presented work at Sybarite Love is Love, BrickHouse NYC Open House, Slam Bam Dance, WAX Works and many more. Alex has worked as an alumni teacher/choreographer for Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester students and with NYC non-profit Dancing Classrooms. Alex’s work ethic and bubbly personality shines through in all of her creative endeavors. She prides herself on creating a safe, open environment for judgement free movement and expression for artists and humans of all types.

Live!: Brendan Pinkett

Brendan Pinkett began his dancing journey at the age of eight, starting with a range of competitive studios. Since then he has worked under the minds of Travis Cooper and Cailin Manning through several mentorships, was a faculty assistant for Bellamoxi dance convention, and in May 2020 he graduated from Nashville School of the Arts as a dance major. While attending the school he studied under Stacie Flood-Popp, Debra Perry and several other talented artists learning a plethora of dance styles including : Modern, African, Ballet, Tap, Jazz as well as several choreography based courses. His connection to Flood-Popp provided him a knowledge of Found Youth where he joined in 2015, and through his growth he joined Found Movement Group. The professionalism and vulnerability that is shared within the Found movement company is something that Brendan holds very highly. Currently Brendan is moving forward on his journey to establish himself in Nashville’s dance community. There he hopes to share his perspective of movement and learn from whomever he connects with.

Sofía Forero Correa was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. She started dancing at the age of nine after discovering that movement connected her with her true self and brought her to a state of absolute peace and harmony. She studied at Joffrey Ballet School and graduated from The Ailey School- Certificate Program. She has performed pieces by Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, Alvin Ailey, Angelica Stiskin, Rena Butler, Larisa Calero, Luis Salgado, Earl Mosley, Darrel Moultrie, Kirven Boyd, among others. She founded The Heraclitus Project in 2018 and has presented her choreographic work in multiple venues, including, 14th Street Y Theater, Davenport Theater, Dixon Place Theater, The Hudson Valley Festival, Mark Morris SharedSpace, American-Swiss Ballet Company Showcases, Ajkun Ballet Theater Winter Showcase 2019 and 2020 (as a Guest Artist), Winter Follies Festival, Fertile Ground, Sony Music Hall, Spoke the Hub Local Produce Festival, The Hudson Guild Theater, Dance On The Lawn Festival, International Ballet festival 2019 at Union City PAC, 7MPR at Arts on Site, The Craft and B. Create. Open Mics. With her work, she aims to transport the audience to a timeless place where anything can happen, while having a harmonious connection between breath, music and movement, and the space.

Live!: Caitlin Ort

Caitlin Ort (she/her) is a NYC based actor/singer/dancer and director/choreographer. Most recently she is known for her portrayal of Karen the Computer in the 1st National Broadway Tour of The Spongebob Musical, directed by Tina Landau and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli. Other touring credits include Elf: The Musical and Charlie Brown Christmas. Regional credits include The Merry Wives of Windsor, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery (Theater at Monmouth), South Pacific (Texas Family Musicals), Jesus Christ Superstar (Bristol Riverside Theater), and Carousel, Ragtime, How to Succeed..., Show Boat (Utah Festival Opera). Caitlin is also an experienced educator and teacher. In July of 2020 she was a faculty member for Ithaca College's Pre-College Summer Intensive, and will be returning again this summer. In 2018 Caitlin made her NYC directorial and choreographic debut in presenting her original play 'The Yellow Wallpaper' at the NYC International Fringe Festival. She received her BFA in Musical Theater from Ithaca College.

Live!: Eliah James Furlong

Homegrown in the bluegrass of Kentucky, Eliah James Furlong began his training in theater and dance at four years old. Eliah has trained at many schools including The Ailey School, Joffrey Ballet School, Milwaukee Ballet, The Kentucky Governors School for the Arts, Western Kentucky University, SOKY Dance Ensemble, and graduated from The Institute for American Musical Theatre in New York City. In which time Eliah performed works by, Richard J. Hinds, Rena Butler, Nicholas Cunningham, Angelica Stiskin, Jae Man Joo, Lisa Donmall-Reeve, Manuel Vignoulle, Eric Rivera, Adam Fleming, Valarie Salgado, and many more. Eliah had the wonderful opportunity of touring with Bella Moxi Dance Convention where he would work closely with Mia Michaels, Alex Little, Carlos Dos Santos, Justin Conte, Dusty Button, and more. Eliah has a passion for choreography and movement. His work has been seen across the country on stages such as the Tennessee Association of Dance Choreographic Festival, Bella Moxi Choreographic Festival, Miss Bowling Green Pageant, Regional School musicals, and some regional studios. Eliah is a co-creator of Dance On Set and hopes to share the joy of movement as long as he can.

Live!: Mark Caserta

Mark Caserta, from Philadelphia, graduated from the University of the Arts School of Dance, BFA 2010. He danced professionally with international touring companies Complexions Contemporary Ballet (2010-2014), Les Ballets Jazz De Montreal (2014-2016) and Camille A. Brown & Dancers (2017-2018). Mark has been awarded the Philadelphia Rocky Award for Outstanding Dance Performance, The Patrick Swayze Scholarship from Complexions Ballet and the Pennsylvania Ballet Choreography Award. Mark was a 2018 Emerging Choreographer at Springboard Danse Montreal and premiered his first full evening length work ‘BIG KID’ at Gibney NY POP Performance Series in February 2019. Mark was commissioned to set new works on Pennsylvania Ballet II, Grace Dance Theater, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, Kit Modus and Whim W’him Contemporary Dance Seattle for 2021. Mark was named the 2019/2020 EMERGE Award Recipient with Gibney Company & Springboard Danse Montreal. With this award, Mark was commissioned for a new creation with Gibney Company in Spring 2020. Mark has presented work at Wanderlust Dance Festival, The Austin Dance Festival, Dance Gallery Festival, The Banff Center for Performing Arts Choreographic Gesture, The Boston Dance Festival, Steps On Broadway Choreography Lab and the Brooklyn Dance Festival. He has also created work on the University of the Arts School of Dance and Pace University. Mark was co-director of The Thriving Artist Project from 2017-2020, a program offering a free Pre-Professional experience to young dance artists collaborating with artists from Batsheva, NDT, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater & Lines Ballet. He was also on faculty at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center teaching Ballet, Contemporary Ballet and Movement Research. Mark has also been on faculty at Gibney Dance NY, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, The Playground NY, University of the Arts and MindLeaps. Mark directs 'CREATE & CONNECT’, an all virtual dance platform with movement sessions and conversations highlighting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists & friends. CREATE & CONNECT has featured artists like Sidra Bell, Mikey Morado, Alexander Anderson, Jason Parsons, Dorchel Haqq, Samantha Figgins and more. He currently is a freelance teacher, dancer and choreographer creating new work for his own project BIGkid Dance.

Live!: Ana Sofia Dallal

Ana Sofia Dallal is a performer and teacher from Mexico, living in New York City. Her training began at a young age in Guadalajara at her mothers’ studio, Escuela de Danza de Guadalajara; including everything from Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Latin dances like Salsa y Bachata. With EDG, she performed numerous ballets like Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, La Bayadere among others. Ana Sofia soon fell in love with Musical Theatre and had the opportunity to be part of the cast as ensemble, swing, or dance captain of Beauty and the Beast, Legally Blond, Chicago, Cabaret, Aida in different productions across her country. She has also participated in music videos and danced for artists like Juan Magan. In 2016 she was honored to receive a scholarship to study a Summer Intensive at Joffrey Ballet School in NYC and in 2017 a scholarship to study a full 2-year program at The Institute for American Musical Theatre. After graduating, Ana Sofia performed "On 1 Condition" with Ryan Beck at Dixon Palace Theatre, also she was cast in various sessions of Dance on Lab, directed by Josh Prince with choreographers Breton Tyner- Bryan, Val Salgado, and Adam Fleming. In 2019, she debuted at the Off-Broadway immersive play "The Hidden Ones" produced by Richard Baskin Productions and choreographed by Whitney Sprayberry. Ana Sofia is a proud Latina who is very passionate about dancing and loves the vulnerability and connections that dance can offer to us. She is currently teaching Broadway Jazz and Bachata and she is part of the salsa pro team 'Zuberi Ladies' directed by the world champion Delia Madera.

Live!: Onjélee Phomthirath

Onjélee Phomthirath began her dance career at Pinnell Dance Centre in Columbus, OH under the direction of Jeri Pinnell. In 2019, Onjélee earned her BFA in dance from The Ohio State University with a focus in arts administration and costume design. There she collaborated with professional ballet company, Ballet Met, amongst her OSU peers to restage and perform Ohad Naharin Minus 16 as well as performing in the Dance Brazil Tour in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. During Onjélee’s training she worked with Bella Moxi Dance convention as a faculty assistant & corps member. Onjélee has been teaching and choreographing professionally for 7 years. Her students have won numerous top awards from regional and national championship competitions along with scholarships to commercial dance conventions and concert dance intensives such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Her students furthered their dance education at universities such as Point Park University, University of Indiana, and The Ohio State University. Onjélee currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT where she is a dancer with SALT 2 as well as a dance teacher and choreographer.

Rachel Leigh Dolan, is an award winning choreographer and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the Founder and Artistic director of best8, a New York Foundation for the Arts fiscally sponsored artist project that creates theatrical works for digital platforms and uplifts intersectional artists in all aspects of production. Her professional stage choreography credits include New York Theatre Barn, Arena Stage, Olney Theatre Center, Imagination Stage, and Holland America Cruise Line. A proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Rachel is a two-time Helen Hayes Award Recipient for Outstanding Choreography in a Musical. Along with choreographing, Rachel is a passionate educator with over 18 years of experience training dancers from beginners to professionals. She was a founding faculty member at the innovative private performing arts secondary school, The Academy at Metropolitan School of the Arts, and has guest taught for Catholic University of America, American University, and Montgomery College. She is currently a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center Children and Teen Program, Brooklyn Acting Lab, and BOLD Dance Project.

Mira Göksel is a movement artist from Izmir, Turkey working out of Boston and Bern, Switzerland. Mira has created, studied, and performed in the United Kingdom, New York and Boston, where she is currently on track to receive her BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, with an emphasis in Dance Composition. Mira has had the pleasure of showcasing original work at the 14th Street Y Theater in New York, Boston Conservatory’s WinterWorks concert, and co-directing and choreographing two evening-length performances in Boston. Göksel strives for movement creation rooted in dancers’ emotional and physical instincts working hand in hand for the most organic outcome possible. Robert Redick is a New York based choreographer, performer, and teacher. A former Joffrey Ballet School Trainee; Robert has had the opportunity to work and train with choreographers such as: Desmond Richardson, Joshua Prince, Stacey Cadell and Fredrick Earl Mosley. His choreographic credits include commissioned works at Joffrey Ballet School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, Brooklyn Dance Festival, and Youth American Grand Prix. In addition to choreographing and performing, Robert is the production coordinator for the Bridge for Dance's Uptown Rising Performance Series. He is also the Co-Host & Producer for the Dance is Activism Film Festival with Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance. Robert has a deep passion for creating an inclusive, challenging and rewarding experience. He believes in instilling confidence and allowing a safe space for humanity to thrive and operate both on stage and in the studio.

Asia Pyron is a freelance choreographer and the director of PYDANCE. Asia is original from Atlanta, GA but received most of her early training at Interlochen Arts Academy in Northern Michigan. After graduating, Asia attended the Boston Conservatory at Berklee where she received her B.F.A. in Contemporary Performance and Composition in 2020. During her time in Boston, she formed her dance collective, PYDANCE, and performed in local dance festivals such as the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, Onstage360, and the Boston Conservatory WinterWorks concerts. Asia has been a guest artist for multiple companies such as the Cambridge Ridge and Latin School, DanceLab NY, and QuarIntensive. She has also been a finalist in various choreography competitions such as Choreography Online and the UNCSA Summer Residency program. She is honored to be selected to collaborate with Dance On Set this upcoming week.

Ian Klein is a New York City based dancer and choreographer. His training includes everything from Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Break dancing, various styles of Ballroom, and various Modern techniques. He is honored to teach classes at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center in New York City and throughout the country in numerous styles of dance demonstrating his passion for the art of movement.
Ian believes that the numerous styles of dance should be used like paints on a palette and dips into each of them while creating to ensure that the outcome is covered in hints of classical technique to street edginess with brush strokes of what ever style the choreography calls for.
Ian can be seen in Movies, Hit Television Series and National Print Ads. He has also had the privilege to perform live with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Dita Von Teese, Rita Ora, Chris Brown, Conor Maynard, Sean Kingston, Ne-Yo and The Band Perry just to name a few. Ian graduated from Marymount Manhattan College where he majored in dance and received his B.F.A.

Live!: Mira Jayne

Mira Jayne is a choreographer, dancer, and singer that has trained extensively in New York City. She began her career at the School of American Ballet at a young age. Since then, she has worked with several household names such as Chet Walker, Darci Kistler, Michael Blake, Manuel Vignoulle, Gabriella Garcia, and more. Mira has performed with New York City Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet School's Ensemble Company, Player's Theater and most recently, EuropaPark as a part of their ShowBallet. Along with live performances, Mira has also taken on roles in film, music videos and commercials. Some of her more featured parts were Gloria in Wait Until Dark, Young Christine in Phantom of the Opera, a soloist in Daniel Johnson’s “So Leicht” music video, and a dancer/model for a Mercedes Benz commercial and campaign. She has set multiple pieces of choreography on students at the Joffrey Ballet School as well as on her colleagues in Germany. A positive environment is always one of her first priorities when teaching and choreographing. She is very passionate about dance and expressing emotions through movement. Mira is currently living in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, hoping to share her experiences and knowledge of performing with others.

Live!: Katie Drablos

Katie Drablos is a Texas native who graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University in 2009. Post college, Katie moved to NYC and performed as a Radio City Rockette. She works extensively with and for Al Blackstone; most notably as his Associate Choreographer on productions of Oklahoma, Hairspray, Pippin, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, and as a dancer in his original works, Freddie Falls in Love and Happy We’ll Be. She is immersed in the theater dance world in NYC, but also has a love for contemporary dance. She regularly teaches both contemporary and theater jazz at Steps on Broadway, and guests at Broadway Dance Center. Katie has choreographed and taught workshops at SMU and Princeton University. She presented work at the Highbridge Arts Festival in NYC as an emerging choreographer. Katie was a choreographer for the Spring 2020 Steps Professional Performance Workshop Industry Showcase. She also co-founded an organization, HEART, which brings dance workshops to studios around the country with the mission of giving back to various charities and dancing free of judgment and full of authenticity. Katie’s classes are full of soulful music, storytelling, and expansive movement.

Ciara Roman, co-creator of Dance On Set, found her love for the arts through concert dance. After coming to New York City she began her training at Joffrey Ballet School’s Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program under the direction of Michael Blake and has recently graduated from The Institute for American Musical Theatre. Her professional credits include Kristine Urich (Deluca) in A Chorus Line at Bucks County Center for the Performing Arts and character performance at Feld Entertainment. Sapna Advani is an energetic, up and coming Choreographer, Director and Performer. She serves as the Assistant Creative Director for AATMA Performing Arts along with being a principal dancer and assistant choreographer for the Company’s Touring Production, Mystic India: The World Tour. Throughout her career Sapna has not only had the privilege of touring world-wide, but has also gotten opportunities to work with amazing artists such as Vidya Vox, Shankar Tucker, Francesca Maria and Jonita Gandhi. She has also choreographed and directed numerous shows and performances some of which include the Philadelphia Sixers Half-time Show, New York Knicks Opening Act, and A R Rahman Musical Act (IIFA Rocks 2017). While Sapna specializes in commercial styles such as Street Jazz and Heels, her focus as a dance educator is to take her cultural influences and combine it with her passion for more modern dance styles to create her own version of dance and performance. She wants her students to understand the importance of connection to music and finding depth within oneself in order to reach heights as an artist. She teaches Bollywood, Contemporary/Jazz, Street Jazz, and Heels classes as well as numerous workshops.

Ms. Diniz was a choreographer for DanceBreak 2020 and was commissioned to create new works for Jacob's Pillow, Performance Santa Fe, Columbia Ballet Collaborative and Avant Chamber Ballet. She is a finalist for the New York Dance Project Choreography Competition and her work has been shown in Stars of American Ballet rep, New York Choreographers’ Forum, the Steps Beyond Foundation performance lab, Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Nebula Dance Festival, and the Higher Ground Festival, among others. She also choreographed the AEA production of the Vaudevillian musical 'On the Air.' She has taught, and continues to teach, at NYSSSA, MYB, AMDA, Peridance and studios around the New York area. Ms. Diniz trained at In the Spotlight, winning regional and national titles and scholarships, and supplemented her performance studies at the Paper Mill Playhouse Musical Theater Summer Conservatory and the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. After earning her B.A. from Cornell University, she joined the Dirty Dancing national tour (u/s Baby, Lisa and Elizabeth) and performed regionally in multiple shows, including featured roles in National Pastime and My Fair Lady, both under the direction of Tony nominee Hunter Foster and Waitress's Lorin Latarro. She served as Dance Captain/Phantom for three years of this team's The Rocky Horror Show and also was Associate Choreographer for the production's fourth incarnation. She now is honored to frequently tour with Stars of American Ballet.

Morgan Rose made her Broadway Debut with School of Rock on Broadway and served as a Swing and then Dance Captain in her final months with the company. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and a graduate of Florida State University’s BFA Music Theatre program. Morgan’s other favorite performance credits include: Evita (Revival 1 st National Tour), Shrek the Musical (1 st National Tour), Elf the Musical (Madison Square Garden), Dear Edwina (Original Off Broadway Cast), Pirates of Penzance (choreography by Josh Bergasse), A Chorus Line (Maine State Music Theatre), as well as several benefit performances for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and Dancers’ Responding to AIDS. Morgan is a Guest Faculty member at NYC’s Broadway Dance Center, a Master Guest Faculty Member of Joffrey Ballet School’s Music Theatre Intensive and has most recently been a Guest Teacher/Choreographer for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) Graduation Performances. She’s been incredibly fortunate to work alongside some of New York’s most inspiring choreographers. Linh An is a New York-trained dancer-choreographer, currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam, whose choreographic works are largely influenced by Theatre Jazz style. During one year in the International Student Visa Dance Training Program in New York’s Premiere dance center – Broadway Dance Center, Linh was intensively trained in theatre jazz, street jazz, ballet, and tap by New York’s Broadway professionals including Tony-Award winners and nominees such as Chet Walker, A.C Ciulla; others are Diane Laurenson, Jill Kenney, Jason Wise, Josh Assor, Karla Puno Garcia, Khori Petinaud and many more. Alex Little is a Choreographer and Dance Educator. She has choreographed for clients & companies including Nike, Nike NFL, Audi, Genentech, Thunderhead.com, Tarbell Realtors, and The Young Americans; contributed choreography to Knott’s Berry Farm (figure skating shows), the opening production for America’s Got Talent (NBC) and Alex was a Jazz coach to Karina Smirnoff & Apollo Ohno on Dancing With The Stars (ABC). Her full length show, ANONYMOUS premiered in 2013, danced by her own company, Escape Artists. Teaching dance is one of Alex’s favorite ways to share, connect, educate and motivate young people from all over the world and she has been doing just this for 20 years. Alex has been a faculty member for various dance conventions & festivals including Velocity Dance Convention, Dance Makers Inc, Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop and The Young Americans. Currently, she teaches on the faculty of Bella Moxi Dance Convention, Dance Excellence and West Coast Elite Dance Inc. Alex has also taught & choreographed in the collegiate setting at AMDA Los Angeles, Cornish College of the Arts, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine University, The Young Americans College of the Arts, and The Institute of American Musical Theatre’s summer program. As a director Chip’s shows have won the Magellan Award and two IAPPA Awards (best show worldwide.) Madison Pineda began cultivating a love for dance the moment she could walk. From 11-15 years of age, she received versatile training in Texas with Dana’s Studio of Dance. When she was 15, she was given the opportunity to train in New York at the Joffrey Ballet School Jazz and Contemporary Program on scholarship, where she completed two years under artistic director, Michael Blake. Madison was accepted to the Juilliard School in 2017 and is in her 3rd year as a dance major. During her college years, she has trained at prestigious summer intensives: Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Dance Festival in 2018, the Nederlands Dance Summer Intensive in 2019 and the Arts Umbrella Summer Dance Intensive in 2019. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Crystal Pite, Desmond Richardson, Rena Butler, and Darrell Moultrie. She was one of six choreographers chosen to present work in Juilliard’s 2019 ChoreoComp Show. Performing highlights include: dancing on the Jacob’s Pillow InsideOut Stage, performing alongside Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane company members as a soloist in the “Dances by Dancers” 2017 show, performing Martha Graham’s “Rite of Spring” in the 2018 Juilliard Spring Repertory, dancing for the upcoming Warner Brothers film, “In The Heights” and performing in Andrea Miller’s Juilliard New Dances creation, “Desde”. She is looking forward to growing as an artist while traveling the world, performing and sharing her passion for dance.
